Sadie Hill has a lot going on.

New job, twin boys, deadbeat ex, and a mother from hell.

Her life is chaos and no matter how hard she holds on, every plan she makes flies straight out of her grasp.

The last thing she needs is for her devastatingly hot co-worker to become her new neighbor. A distraction like Barrett does not fit into her precarious plans for the future.

Barrett Monroe has got it going on.

His wicked ex-wife is nothing but a memory, his daughter is back home where she belongs, and he loves his job.

His control-freak ways have paid off and he can finally relax into his perfectly scheduled life-alone, just how he wants it.

The last thing he needs is an irresistible single mom and her adorable kids to move in next door. Sadie was hard enough to stay away from when she was just his co-worker.

But one night spent stranded in a snowstorm together finds these two sneaking around, sharing stolen kisses, and losing their hearts.

Will they give into the flying sparks between them?

Or drive each other crazy fighting their feelings instead?

'Architecture and Artistry' is a full-length contemporary romance and can be read as a standalone. Book #11 in the Green Valley Library series, Green Valley Chronicles, Penny Reid Book Universe.

“And let’s face it, dreams were useless unless you woke up with a happy tingle and left-over dirty thoughts to take with you to your morning shower.”

Architecture and Artistry by Nora Everly is the 11th installment to the Green Valley Public Library Series from Smartypants Romance. Barrett and Sadie have a page scorching, finger melting opposites attract with a smidgeon of forbidden romance thrown in for flavor kind of romance. It’s exactly the kind of romance that once you pick it up, you’ll be hard-pressed to put it down.

Okay, fine. It’s not truly forbidden. These neighbors have been pining for each other for years, but they take honor, responsibility, and dedication to their respective families very seriously which mean their mutual admiration has turned into years upon years of delicious sexual tension. I imagine our very dear Nora Everly doing her best Mr. Burns impression while plotting out this latest release. Whatever her process is, it means that we readers get the benefit of her schemes.

“Bless his heart because the good lord up above sure did bless him everywhere else. Look at that ass. Just look at it.”

Barrett is very much my favorite type of hero: a Stern Brunch Daddy. He’s a gentleman in the streets, and an alpha in the sheets. You catch my drift? Architect by day and Dirty Talker by night, Barrett is very much Sadie’s kryptonite. Our heroine Sadie winds up as Barrett’s neighbor and co-worker at Monroe Construction as the resident Interior Designer. Newly minted single mother, Sadie has her sisters to help her out while she adjusts to the single parent life but is constantly aware of just how often Barrett sees her in sweats and no makeup. What’s a girl to do? Dress to impress at the office of course. I adore Sadie. She’s got that fierce feminine energy that I love and admire— just like the rest of her sisters.

What would any great Green Valley story be without some scheming family members? But what Sadie and Barrett’s family don’t know is that they’ve given into their sexual attraction and have been sneaking around like a couple of teenagers. Speaking of teenagers…It’s the teens that cause all the drama here. All the angst could have easily derailed the inevitable HEA, but with Nora at the helm nothing could stop that fantastic ending!

“Sadie made me feel like—well, I wasn’t quite sure yet. All I knew was that she made me feel alive for the first time in a very long time.”

With Nora Everly’s signature brand of storytelling and the dial turned up on the spiciness, you cannot miss with Architecture and Artistry. I’ve absolutely loved getting to know each of these Monroe Brothers and can say that I would be hard-pressed to pick a favorite. Oh wait. Why choose? Do yourself a favor and meet the Monroe Family by picking up any one of Nora Everly’s fantastic romances. Architecture and Artistry is available today! Happy Release Day, Nora!
