Everything comes to an end. Brigid Connor is a vampire familiar with ghosts. The ghosts of her past, the ghosts of her victims, and the ghosts of those she couldn’t save. Now in the wilds of America’s most remote frontier, she’ll face a specter who has haunted her steps, a fire vampire with a baffling connection to Brigid’s mate, her clan, and those she holds most dear. Tenzin is an immortal who has lived a hundred lives. She’s been a daughter, a sister, a villain, and a hero. With every millennium, she has evolved, cutting ties with the past and moving forward with relentless focus, a survivor among the fiercest predators in history. But history has a way of finding those who flee from it

“Her heart was a burning fire, and he loved her for it. A thousand years wouldn’t quench it. A thousand innocents rescued wouldn’t quell her need to help the next.”
Series Culmination

Elizabeth Hunter does not disappoint with her culminating conclusion to her paranormal mystery romance series, Elemental Covenant. We first got to know Carwyn ap Bryn and Brigid Connor as leading characters in Saints’ Passage, Book 1 of Elemental Covenant. It was there that we began following these two elemental vampires as they set out to find the lost, right wrongs, and search for meaning in the endless stretch of immortality they’ve been granted. Little did they know at that time that Brigid would become the obsession of a psychopathic fire vampire with buried ties to Tenzin, the ancient air vampire from Hunter’s Elemental Legacy Series. But as the human and vampire carnage increases, Brigid and Tenzin must join forces to finally expose and destroy the ghosts from their pasts.
Endings Can Be Beginnings
“Nothing ever truly dies. We are made of every life that came before us.”
It’s always a bittersweet experience to see a much loved series, Elemental Covenant, come to an end. While I was truly excited to see how EH ended the building mystery of Zasha’s obsession with Brigid and by extension Tenzin, I was dreading the thought of not continuing to fully experience two of my favorite Elizabeth Hunter characters, Carwyn and Brigd. The dynamics and passion of their relationship plus their individual personalities as they pursued the noble goal of helping those less desirable or less fortunate in society made immersion into their stories so enjoyable. Add in Tenzin and Ben and my favorite gang was all together. But, I totally get that this story needed a conclusion and EH came through in a big way! So many loose ends were tied up and her resolution was very satisfying. Plus she left open the door for some supporting characters to get their own stories, which is super exciting.
Highly Recommend

EH is a masterful story teller who excells in creating memorable characters and intriguing relationships. Tin God is no exception and showcases Brigid and Tenzin in a way that reveals more of their personalities away from their mates, Carwyn and Ben. They are so different, with Brigid being tumultuous and Tenzin quite stoic, yet they complement each other perfectly as their shared goal becomes the only thing that matters. While EH writes in series format for her paranormal stories, each individual book can be read without starting from the book 1 because of the artful way she is able to weave backstory into each installment. While I strongly suggest you read them all, because they are great and you get such fuller experience by knowing the details of all the interactions and characters, you can pick up any book and truly enjoy it.
“Nothing is wasted in the end.” She closed her eyes and repeated to herself, “Nothing is wasted.”
Tanya’s love for books has been a lifelong passion that she likes sharing with others. Reading is also the thing that relaxes her after a day of juggling the many responsibilities that come with being being wife to an amazing man, mother to four great kids spread around the world, business manager, and farm hand on their place in southwest Missouri; home to Akaushi cattle and a menagerie of pygmy goats, horses, chickens, dogs and cats.
