“My attraction to Kerrigan ran to the marrow, proving what I’d suspected the day we’d met. Kerrigan Hale was a dangerous woman.”
The Brazen by Willa Nash is the lasted standalone in the Calamity, Montana series. One of my most anticipated releases of the year, this enemies to lovers, small town romance will leave you glued to its pages until the very last word.
There is no love lost between Kerrigan and Pierce. Both equally shrewd in their respective businesses, Kerrigan and Pierce are tied together due to an agreement forged between Pierce’s grandfather and Kerrigan. Pierce is set on the immediate dissolution and to wash his hands of Kerrigan and his ties to Calamity forever.
Kerrigan is determined to prove to Pierce that his continued investment will be fruitful and to prove to herself that she can bring her dreams to life. What happens when two determined people clash time and time again? Sparks…sparks happen.
“We kissed like we’d spent days apart, not hours.”
When those sparks are kindled by a weekend snowstorm in a romantic Mountain retreat, the flames of Kerrigan and Pierce’s mutual desire cannot be ignored. The Brazen is one scorching hot, forced proximity romance with a twist that blew me away.
I loved how both Pierce and Kerrigan have demons in their past that they need to confront and put to rest but they just can’t seem to resist each other. Their story is truly one of two equals seeing each other and coming to terms with their desires. That was one of my favorite aspects. Kerrigan and Pierce are true equals and even with how successful he is in his own right, Pierce never diminished Kerrigan’s accomplishments. Pierce is seriously swoon worthy book boyfriend material.
This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites! Willa Nash drops such delicious details throughout her stories that I’m constantly left to wonder who we will get to read about next. The Brazen is available exclusively in Kindled Unlimited today! Go grab your copy now!
