What should new-to-you readers know your books?
-they are always about friendships, first and foremost. I love weaving in magic and adventure, and I love a good found family. And finally, I’m an animal lover, so there is usually a loveable animal character in each of my books.
And spice. There’s always at least a little spice.

Your covers are gorgeous! Did you design them and what was your inspiration for the look?
Thank you! I designed some, and others I let the designer have free reign. Sometimes I have a very strong idea of what I want … like with my monster romance novellas. But other times, I have no idea what I’m looking for, like with The Elemental – but man, my designer really knocked that book cover out of the park! Her business is SevenStar Design, and she’s a wizard.

You share about loving animals and incorporating them into your stories, tell us about your background.
I was a horse girl. THAT horse girl, who had to pet any horse that would come close to the fence, that had posters and cut-outs of horses on my walls. I would even play in my backyard, setting up “jumps” and riding my imaginary horse. My parents weren’t really pet people, but when I found a stray dog in our neighborhood, I pestered my parents until they let me keep him. I’ve had dogs ever since. And I got to live out my horse-girl dreams as a grown-up. I exercised horses in high school and college, and I even got to work at the Tri-Circle D ranch at Walt Disney World doing trail rides, trolley carts, and even a few princess weddings.

As a military spouse where has been your favorite place to live or travel to?
That’s a hard one. I think I loved living in Alaska the most. Don’t get me wrong. I HATE the cold, but Alaska was such a beautiful place, and I had such amazing friends up there. We went all over the state having amazing adventures.
As far as where I’ve traveled … It changes on when you ask me, but most of the time, the answer is the country of Jordan. There’s so much to do and see there. From the cities, to the desert, to both the red sea and dead sea. And Petra is just awe inspiring.

What is your favorite personal genre to read?
Fantasy! With spice preferred, but I’m fine without it. I also dive into paranormal every now and then.

What are you reading right now?
Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff. It’s so good! It’s one of those books that I’m really enjoying as a reader, but I feel like it’s also making me a better writer. The way this is written is so unique. I love it.

Besides your own books, who are your go-to authors and why?
My friend Anna Fury. Not only is she an amazing person, but her books are fantastic. Fast paced and filled with action and spice. I also love Elizabeth Brown (another dear friend). No one writes super spicy smut like her. And Kimberly Lemming – because she’s hilarious and so are her books.

Which author are you most excited to see at Romantasy?
I have to pick just one? Haha. No. Every Single One.

Are you an introvert or extrovert when it comes to big fan events like Romantasy and why?
Introvert … well, let’s say I’m an extroverted introvert. I’m very quiet when you first meet me, but once I get comfortable, I can open up a little. But big events like this do tend to overwhelm, and my mental and physical battery can drain pretty quickly. Plus, I’m prone to migraines, and big events like this can easily trigger one.

Any fun things your fans will find at your Romantasy author table?
I do have a decent amount of swag to go with my books (stickers, bookmarks, and spicy art cards). I’ll also have a sign up for a kickstarter I’m doing for a special edition omnibus. Everyone that signs up to follow my kickstarter will be entered to win a prize.

If you could take one of your characters to the Romantasy Ball who would it be and why?
This is so random, but it would actually be a side character from my trilogy. Owen. He’s just so fun, the comedic relief … he just knows how to cut loose.

What are you planning on wearing to the Romantasy ball?
I’m not attending the ball. After all day at my booth, I know I’m going to be drained.

What do you have in store for readers in 2025?
Hopefully, my kickstarter gets funded and I can release the super special edition of my monster romance omnibus with a foiled cover, sprayed edges, and brand new character art (some of it very spicy). I also hope to release at least three new books … one I’m drafting right now. All in the fantasy genre.

In addition to seeing you at Romantasy how can readers connect with you and learn more about you and your stories?
I do have a newsletter – usually only goes out once a month unless I have extra things going on. https://www.tbwiese.com/subscribe I’m also pretty active on TikTok, and Instagram. You can find both in my lnkBio. https://lnk.bio/TBWiese

Finally, a few “popcorn” questions: Disney or Universal? Sweet or salty? Night owl or early riser? Noble hero or reformed bad boy? Chocolate or vanilla? Dog or cat?
Disney.
Sweet.
Neither haha – I’m an afternoon pigeon – If I could I’d sleep late and go to bed early.
How about a non-reformed bad boy? I don’t need a redemption arc.
Chocolate.
Dog
