Quote from The Couple at Number 9 by Claire Douglas.

The story takes on multiple POV’s as it develops, as well as culpability landing on each new perspective introduced. This type of writing really helps move the story along and add a great edge.

There were times where I felt a bit lost in each new POV switch up. I would probably have liked an anchor in each person’s POV to be able to recollect their particular place in the story. (But that may be a me thing.)

An excellent thriller

The Couple at Number 9 by Claire Douglas is a twisty, creepy, thriller. It has so many great moments that kept me engaged as a reader. The pace is just right and I personally am a fan of being fed little detail by little detail, until the full picture of the truth is revealed. I thought that was done very well in this book.
