Can you pinpoint a time in your life where you realized you are completely and utterly screwed?

I can. I got the dreaded phone call, the one every baseball player hopes and prays never comes.

I was traded. Yeah, that phone call.

Traded from my long time team of over ten years. And not just to any team, but my childhood rivals; the Chicago Rebels.

Completely and utterly screwed, right? Wrong. The trade was the least of my concerns.

I met a girl. Natalie. Man, she's perfect.

I swore I would never get involved with anyone during the season. Too complicated. But can you believe I have zero restraint when it comes to this girl? I couldn't get her out of my head and the more I talked to her, the more I realized I needed her in my life.

So what's the problem? Why am I screwed? Because, Natalie, the girl I can't stop crushing on, yeah . . . she's married.

At least, that's what I was told . . .

“Baseball is what gets inside you. It’s what lights you up. You can’t deny that.” – A League of Their Own.

Meghan Quinn has crafted a world in baseball that is both realistic, fun, and utterly addictive. The Trade is another standalone book that follows another beloved baseball player, Cory Potter, and the lovely Natalie Orson (beloved sister Meghan Quinn fan-favorite, Jason Orson).

First Base

The Trade could easily be a study of miscommunication and crossed signals. Cory is most definitely attracted to Natalie but after he gets bad information about her, he decides to designate his feelings to a crush and nothing else.. Natalie is left reeling from the harsh blow of a cheating ex, followed by a divorce, and a handful of awful dating experiences. Essentially, her self-esteem is at rock bottom, so she could never imagine that a hunky, kind man like Cory would ever give her the time of day.

Second Base

Natalie and Cory find themselves on a romantic trip with their friends before baseball season starts. Their feelings for each other get a workout when they are forced to share a room. This is where The Trade will get you hooked. A shared hotel room, hidden feelings, and miscommunication is a recipe for angsty-drama. The trips ends all too soon and leaves the two of them wondering if the chemistry-induced inferno will survive a cold dose of reality back in Chicago.

Third Base

Baseball season spring training begins and Cory learns the hard way that he is bad at juggling. Juggling his feelings for Natalie, his desire to do well and mesh with his new teammates, and his growing disappointment and mutual disapproval of the Rebel fans. It wouldn’t be a Meghan Quinn book without some heartache. Sometimes the only way to recover from a fall, is to drop to rock bottom in order to see the way back to the top.

Home Run

In epic fashion, The Trade will have your eyes absolutely glued to the page until the very end. It is chock full of drama, sexy times, heartache, and finished with a swoony happily ever after. The Trade is yet another Meghan Quinn baseball classic. Go get your copy as it is available now!
