The king's order is final.

I’ve screwed up big time. Now, I’m facing the damning consequences.

The walls are closing in as I balance duty to grandmother’s memory with my impossible feelings for Kyros. Then there’s the freakin’ human-vampire hybrid thing to deal with.

The problem is, I’m no longer willing to lose the person I’ve gambled against from the start.

Our fates hinge on a single roll of the dice, and one wrong move could collapse the tower of cards I’ve painstakingly built.

If that happens, I’ll lose more than I ever bargained for.

Perfect crescendo to a grand finale…

Death Game: Supernatural Battle, by Kelly St. Clare is the final book in the Vampire Towers Series. In this last installment, Bascillia La Spyre has taken over the family empire after the murder of her grandmother, and only remaining family member, and vows to finish her grandmother’s work of out playing the two royal vampire families at their own game of Ingenium, a real-life version of monopoly.  To complicate matters she has completed a number of blood exchanges with Kryos, crown prince of the Sundulus Clan, and is torn between what she thinks she should do and what she wants to do.

If you have been following my reviews on this series or have been reading it yourself you know that starting out it seemed like this was going to be another cookie-cutter shifter romance with a spoiled, whiny heroine and a plot that was no more exciting than a couple of sparklers on the 4th of July.  It didn’t take long in book 1 for Kelly to shatter that premise and start you on a path of building suspense and emotional turmoil till she leaves you with an explosive finale in Death Game: Supernatural Battle that is full of sparks and heat.

I really became engaged with Basi and Kyro as Kelly grew them from a couple of self-absorbed, gorgeous, hot bodies with some primal attraction between them, into two young adults who are willing to sacrifice themselves for the people they love, which they come to realize might even include each other.

Death Game: Supernatural Battle is the perfect, culminating finale to a great series.  If you have not already started reading the Vampire Towers Series by Kelly St. Clare order yours today!
