All I wanted was some no-strings attached sex, where small talk wasn’t necessary. There'd be no reminders of laundry that needed to be done and my endless list of responsibilities could be forgotten.
Signing up for the Timber dating app was my answer. No wining or dining; just sex. Those were my rules. I never imagined I'd meet champion lumberjack Magnus Andersen, or that he'd be interested in me.

he lumberjack: Magnus Andersen is a god. Well, at least that’s what his Personal Assistant keeps encouraging him to believe. Lumberjack turned fitness model, the man has hundreds of sponsors, millions of followers on social media and probably thousands of women lusting after him on a daily basis. But Magnus is actually kind of a shy guy. Working out, running his tree-cutting business, baking pies and hanging out with his cat are really his only priorities. Having had his heart previously stomped on, he’s not necessarily looking for anything else.
The single mom: Lucy Walker is also not looking for anything complicated. She has enough responsibilities in her day to day life. A single mother, taking care of a parent recovering from a stroke, and housing a younger sister who has only recently moved home, while juggling a job, her plate is pretty full. So while she’s not necessarily in the market for a relationship, she wouldn’t be opposed to something, well, purely physical. 
The dating app: Magnus is the face of Timber, a dating app geared towards lumberjacks and the women who love them. As such, he has an automatic subscription- not that he pays it any mind. Until a software glitch sends dozens of profiles to his real email account and a brown haired, freckled beauty catches his eye. Lucy doesn’t have time for dating. She barely has time for sleeping. But sex, well… she could make time for that… So she goes on Timber purely to find a no-strings hook up so she can relieve the ache and move on. A sweet message from a guy with the same profile name as her celebrity crush was *not* what she was expecting.
But feelings are often beyond our control and what we need appears even if we weren’t waiting for it. Remy Blake spins their magic in this tale of love unexpected. Can Magnus overcome his shyness and woo the girl properly? Will Lucy allow herself to have actual feelings again? Is the bedroom going to light on fire from the amount of heat these two are throwing off? I’d say it’s anybody’s guess, but, well, I know the answers… And you can, too.
