Alayna Withers has only had one kind of relationship: the kind that makes her obsessive and stalker-crazy. Now that Hudson Pierce has let her into his heart, she’s determined to break down the remaining walls between them so they can build a foundation that’s based on more than just amazing sex. Except Hudson’s not the only one with secrets.
With their pasts pulling them into a web of unfounded mistrust, Alayna turns to the one person who knows Hudson the best—Celia, the woman he almost married. Hoping for insight from someone who understands all sides of the story, Alayna forms a bond with Celia that goes too far—revealing things about Hudson that could end their love for good.
This is the first relationship where Alayna hasn’t spiraled out of control. And she might lose Hudson anyway…
“If you want possessive alpha male, I can certainly comply.”
Found in you is the second book in the Fixed series by Laurelin Paige. It is much hotter than the first book. Found In You starts off right where Fixed on You left off. Hudson and Alayna are finally done pretending and fighting feelings now everything is real. Huds has also finally invited Alayna to his home (where no other woman has ever been). They are so hot for eachother it hurts, but Alayna is still struggling with not knowing for sure if what Hudson feelings for her are genuine or if he is manipulating her as part of his game like he has done in the past with other women.
On the other hand Hudson is using everything in his power to show her that he cares for her. He really started to open up his world to her and his home
“Just don’t give up on us. Please, don’t give up. I’m a shell without you, Alayna. I can barely breathe when you aren’t near me”
Some unexpected twists are in this book particularly with Celia. I said it before how much I disliked Hudson’s mother but the one person I definitely never liked was Celia. I just never thought she was genuine and something about her was just so….UGH!!!! and in this book she shows her true colors and she is a mess. I knew she had a messed up story but when I finally found out what was going on and what her real plan was, I was just shocked and annoyed. I can only guess that In the next book Ms. Celia will just get worse. I hope someone will put her in her place for the love of everything that is holy.
If you are a fan of the crossfire series this should definitely be on your list. I like that these books are not cliffhangers while you still need to read them in order at least you can go from book to book without the panic.
