How far would you go to protect the ones you love?
What would you sacrifice to kill the one you hate?
Join Giovanni Vecchio and Beatrice De Novo as they travel to a hidden island on the far edge of China and seek the help of an ancient immortal court. Can they weave their way through the tangled web of centuries-old alliances and ruthless feuds to find what they’ve been looking for? Friends will be revealed, enemies will find them, and a dangerous secret will come to light.
The Force of Wind is the third book in the four-part Elemental Mysteries series. It is a paranormal mystery/romance for adult readers

Force of Wind is the kind of book that robs you of sleep, baits your breath and infuses you with hope for the characters to really get their HEA.[/dropshadowbox]I feel like I write a lot of positive reviews, but I think it’s just that I have some great recommendations! |
I am not one to get totally invested in a book, or a storyline. Though I am a serious bookworm, when I buy an audiobook, I keep it strictly to my commute on weekdays and “forget it” on the weekend. I started Force of Wind Friday morning. It is now Sunday night, and I have now finished not only THIS book, but also the next in the series. I LOVED them (the second is even better!)
Note: the chick who does audio on this series (Dina Pearlman) is amazeballs and deserves an Audible Emmy. Seriously. Does that exist? If not, it should! Gio and B are a unique pairing. I loved their personalities, their interactions and how things progress (also, I want a Carwyn!) I described this series on facebook to my friends as “The Historian” meets “The Notebook” and I still think that is accurate. Check out the first book in the Elemental Mysteries series here. It’s just really that good. Just do it. |
Meg, AKA the Queen Bee (QB) founded LitBuzz in 2015 as a way for her favorite authors to more-readily provide books to a legitimized reviewer. At the time, she never thought it would grow to include a dozen people, hundreds of authors and thousands of reviews.
Most of the time, you can find her with a bulldog at her feet in her home office in Pittsburgh, writing content or developing brand campaigns for clients – or sneaking a quick read of a new release.
She’s married to a great guy, has two amazing grown daughters and more animals than sense. 😉
